Pre-production unit - Introduction/ Pitch

Our TV Series will be called .... and will be aired on a main channel such as BBC 1 during peak viewing times which for the UK early peak is 17:30 to 20:00 and late peak is 20:00 to 23:00. Once all episodes of the season have been aired then they would be uploaded to services such as Netflix for a duration of time that depends on how successful the series is.

The title sequence for the show will be similar to the title sequence for Who do you think you are and will showcase the celebrities that will be in the current series you are watching. There may also be videos/ pictures alongside the celebrity as their name comes up as a sort of past and present comparison.

The target audience for this program will be middle-aged men and women. With it being aired at 5:30pm to 8 o'clock in the evening it caters for when people finish work and want something to watch during or after dinner. For those who have children, the show would be aired on a plus channel between 8 pm - 11pm.
